PYCC was built in 1924 and has now been part of the Pasadena community for almost 100 years. Founded by Walter Hagen and others, Hagen became the first club Pro while being ranked as the golfer in the USA. The club has had the privilege of hosting both men’s and women’s professional events and commemorative matches through the years. The community around PYCC was owned and developed by US Steel during the 1980s. Ownership has transferred a few times since then but has been under the very capable, current ownership since 2016. Renovations have been ongoing for the past several years, with beautiful improvements to almost all aspects of the course, clubhouse, and the amenities. We find our membership to be a worthwhile investment.
